A MAN has avoided being sent to jail after assaulting someone in Maidenhead last year.
Toby Curtis-Wyld, of Suffolk Road in Maidenhead, was in Reading Crown Court on Friday (April 28) charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 26-year-old pleaded guilty during a hearing earlier this year to assaulting Thomas Murphy on September 25 last year.

Recorder John Bate-Williams sentenced Curtis-Wyld to six months imprisonment but suspended the sentence for 12 months.
Curtis-Wyld will also need to complete 25 rehabilitation days.
Court costs of £425 were also ordered by Recorder Bate-Williams as well as £500 in compensation.
