A new McDonald's has opened, bringing its big name to Taplow.
The restaurant in the Bishop Centre launched on Wednesday, January 24, following significant investment from local franchisee Richard Forte, who has helped create 50 new jobs.
The restaurant will be open for dine-in, takeaway, Delivery and Click & Serve.
It will join just two other McDonald's in the area to offer a 24/7 service.
Inside there is room to accommodate 62 people eating in, with table service and self-ordering kiosks. The restaurant also features an outside patio.
A dedicated delivery courier area will make it easy for delivery drivers to navigate the restaurant.
The kitchen at the restaurant is upstairs and food will be transported downstairs to the service area via a transporter lift system.
Richard Forte, who now owns and operates 15 McDonald’s restaurants in the Reading area, said: “We are delighted to be opening a brand-new McDonald’s restaurant in The Bishop Centre in Taplow and can’t wait to see local customers, both new and existing, enjoy our services on offer.
"People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create. We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality."
